    Press release

    Amsterdam, August 22nd, 2001

Austrian / German film director, co-producer David Rühm uses Weather Manager every day in the current filming of his next movie due in the German Theaters 2001

    Quote - David Rühm / co-producer and art-director :

"It is essential to know the weather for the next few days in advance. The whole setting and organization of a movie depends finally on the weather if you have to film outdoor - a lot of sponsors & investors money can be washed away by sudden rain".

David is exclusively writing an article for the November issue 26 of the Palmtop-Pro magazine due on 13.11.2001 which will tell the story how his Palm device was essential not only in the making of his movie but in all preparation, castings, etc. He has even written some of the software himself.

No wonder - his main actor, playing a international journalist drawn in shady circles in the very film (the name of the movie is still a secret) uses a Palm m505 to take notes.

The German language magazine Palmtop-Pro is running an article on Weather Manager in its issue 27
